John the Apostle taught constantly on love, so much so that, it was said, the people he taught grew weary of its incessant reiteration. His constant admonition was, “Little children, love one another.” When asked, “Master, why do you always say this?” his reply was, “Because it is the Lord’s commandment, and if only it be done, it is enough.”
