I’ve often heard people say you can’t measure discipleship. I don’t know if that’s true. Granted, it’s still going to be subjective, as is this post, but I believe the Bible gives us clear indications someone has been discipled.

Being a leader approved by God is different from being a leader put in a position by God. Sometimes, when God is training a spiritual leader, He will let us fall on our faces because we can see Him better from that position.
Immature believers abound, and that’s all right. Babies must complete all stages of development before they achieve maturity. But we should never put an infant in a place of leadership. Leaders must be adults in the faith if they are to be role models and examples to those coming after.
Tom’s church tried a unique way of reaching out to their church’s community. We gave each of our members attending a loaf of bread and asked them to give the bread to someone in their neighborhood or community.
Too often we ask for feedback when all we really want is praise. Give yourself time to get feedback from others and inspiration from the Holy Spirit through prayer and study.
